Daniel Howitt is the CEO and co-founder of Recap, a crypto tax calculation service. He has worked in software development for more than 10 years and has been involved in crypto since 2013 – having seen multiple market cycles. In 2017, he realised there were no real options out there to help him understand his own crypto tax position or to help pay his contributions. This led to him founding Recap.
