Steve Backley, was ranked number one in the world in three different decades in the javelin. Steve broke the world record three times, is the only British track and field competitor to win medals at three consecutive Olympic Games and was crowned World Athlete of the Year by the IAAF in 1990.

Upon retirement from sport Steve teamed up with fellow Olympian Roger Black to form BackleyBlack Ltd, helping individuals, teams and organisations build their most important asset, their people.
